Savannah Bananas Will Tour In 2024, Here’s What You Need To Know

Author Jeff Gorra
September 29th 10:42 AM

The greatest show in baseball will be back on tour next year. The Savannah Bananas announced yesterday that their banana ball schedule for 2024 will be released on Thursday, October 5.

Here Is What You Need To Know

Tickets historically sell out incredibly fast. So, the Savannah Bananas have detailed specific instructions to prepare to make sure you have a fair chance at scoring tickets.

“These aren’t your typical tickets,” the organization states. To start, tickets are affordable at $35 apiece. There are no taxes or surprise fees on top of that price.

Great, So How Do I Secure Tickets?

On October 5 at 7 pm EST, the Savannah Bananas will stream a live event on their YouTube channel. During this event, they are expected to reveal all of the cities that will host next season’s “Banana Ball” events. Immediately after the livestream ends, the ticket lottery list will open up. The direct link to enter the ticket lottery will be posted all over the Savannah Bananas sites and socials for all to follow. Then, you follow the instructions to have your name in the ticket lottery.

Here’s the catch. Entering the lottery does not guarantee you have secured tickets. “A random drawing will take place about two months before the event,” the Savannah Bananas explain. If your name is selected, you then have the chance to purchase tickets to the event in your city. Finally, the ticket lottery closes on December 1, 2023. If you have not entered by then, you will lose your chance to have your name drawn for tickets.

What Else?

There have been hints about new Banana Ball experiences that will take place during next year’s tour and games. On the official Instagram announcement yesterday, new teams, special appearances, and new rules were among the teasers that may be part of the Savannah Bananas 2024 experience.

This past year’s tour included the Bananas playing their rival Party Animals (that team is also owned by the Bananas owner Jesse Cole) in select markets nationwide. The 2023 tour started in February in West Palm Beach, Florida. It went all the way until September 16, with the last game in Cooperstown, New York.
