Five Night’s At Freddy’s Movie Gets A Huge Update.
We just got some huge news revolving around the long awaited Five Nights at Freddy’s movie. As like most other fans of the franchise I couldn’t be more excited. I have been waiting years for this to come out. Now thanks to some late night posts from Blumhouse CEO Jason Blum we know when the wait will be over.
As promised:#FNAF FANS: You asked and we delivered. #FNAFMovie is coming this Halloween on October 27. 2023!!!!!

205 days until the party.
And that is the BIG NEWS
Not only did we get an update on when the film will be released. We also got our very first teaser image. Let me just say I was worried about the use of CGI in this film. Partly because video game movies have a bad reputation and adding in animatronics could be a recipe for disaster. Though the image we were given looks pretty amazing.
I’m not worried about the motion capture itself, more so the looks of our favorite animatronics. Though the team behind the movie is working with the creator Scott Cawthon. So I doubt he would do anything that would hurt the films chance of being well received. I do like the dark and gritty looking teaser image though I hope it doesn’t just become a cheesy looking horror film. As we saw with Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey which was very poorly received by critics and viewers alike.

The team even brought some of the most popular Youtubers and Twitch streamers who base their content on FNAF or other similar games. One being Dawko, who shared their excitement about the official news. However, there are two things I’m concerned about one is the theatrical on Peacock. As I know streaming services are getting more and more popular. But that doesn’t mean I like it, I feel movies that follow this route aren’t always good. So I’m hoping I’m wrong here, another point of concern is the fact that we are getting the film days before Halloween this year. As some have pointed out it feels like a Halloween Ends type of release.
I’m sure we’ll find out soon as if the film is set to release in just seven months. I would think they would drop a teaser trailer somewhere around early to mid July.
