Mossimo Giannulli Picked Up From Jail By His Children
Olivia Jade Giannulli and her siblings picked up their father, Mossimo Giannulli on Friday when he was released early from prison.
The famed designer and husband of actress Lori Loughlin was released early from his five-month sentence after pleading guilty with Loughlin to committing fraud in order to get their daughters into the University of Southern California. 55-year-old Loughlin has already served her time — two months in prison. The couple had overlapping prison sentences and hadn’t seen each other after their sentencing, Fox News reports.
21-year-old Olivia Jade, 22-year-old Isabella Rose, and 30-year-old Gianni went together to pick up their father at 8:30 a.m. Friday. According to Fox News, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose initially planned on allowing Gianni to pick their father up alone, but changed their mind at the last minute and surprised their father. Giannulli apparently “lost it” seeing his three kids greet him from prison. Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose are from Mossimo’s relationship with Loughlin, while Gianni is from a previous relationship.
Per Fox News, upon Giannulli’s three-week early release, it was reported that he had moved to a halfway house, but Gianni said otherwise. He explained that they stopped at a halfway house just to pick up an ankle bracelet the designer will have to accessorize with during his sentence at home.
In addition to serving prison time, Giannulli was sentenced to pay a $250,000 fine with two years of supervised release and 250 hours of community service. He served about 60 days of his sentence in a medium-security prison rather than the camp to which he had been sentenced, according to Fox News. The remainder of Giannulli’s prison sentence will be completed at his home starting in mid-April.
