Cameron Boyce’s Father Speaks Out on ‘Nightmare’ of Son’s Death
The father of Disney star Cameron Boyce, who passed away earlier this week, has broken his silence on his son’s death.
Victor Boyce took to Twitter to express his heartbreak and gratitude to fans, who have given an outpouring of support.
“I’m overwhelmed with the love and support our family has received,” he wrote. “It really does help to ease the pain of this nightmare I can’t wake up from. I can’t thank you guys enough.”
Cameron Boyce, 20, died Saturday in his sleep after suffering a seizure, according to multiple reports. He was best known for roles in television shows like Jessie and films like Grown Ups.
His family confirmed the news to multiple outlets via a statement:
“He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure, which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him.”
“An autopsy was performed today and a cause of death was deferred pending further investigation,” the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner said Monday in a press release.
