Time to De-Stress for the Weekend!
Was the thought “WHEN will this week be OVER??” running through your head on an hourly basis this week? Was it just one of those weeks? For me, it was! My saving grace was being on the air with you each night on Magic because the days were crazy! Way too much to do and not enough time to do it. (And don’t even get me started on sleep!)
Okay, no need to dwell on the woes of the workweek. We’re here to make you feel good and forget about the stuff that drives you nuts! So, that’s why I’m here to ask: How do you relax and unwind after a crazy workweek?
Do you have a go-to thing you do with friends? Hit the gym and sweat out your stress? Maybe a wine and cheese night with your besties or your significant other? Or a movie night with the kids? Or do you kick back with a glass of wine in a nice warm bath (with Magic 98.3 playing in the background, of course)?
For me, I always love coming home after getting off the air and shaking up a nice martini (blue cheese-stuffed olives, please). I’ll admit that I love getting manicures when I have a chance, and tomorrow, I feel like I might treat myself! I’ve overindulged in the food department as a way to cope with stress lately, so I have to shut that down immediately. Back to the veggies for me! (Though that burger with gouda and long hots was far too delicious…)
No matter what it is you do, I hope you find some time to relax and unwind this weekend – and NOT think about work! And don’t forget to turn up the good vibes on Magic 98.3!
