This month is World Wish Month, in honor of World Wish Day on April 29th, the day in 1980 when a 7-year-old boy named Chris had the life-changing experience of becoming a police officer, amidst his battle with leukemia. Sadly, Chris passed away days later, but that life-changing experience sparked the global movement known as Make-A-Wish and to this day, over 500,000 children around the world have experienced the hope, strength and joy that a wish provides.
