Ryan Reynolds Channels Taylor Swift’s ‘evermore’ Album Cover
Ryan Reynolds is having a blast promoting his upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine film. In the actor’s latest tease, he channeled his pal Taylor Swift.

The actor shared a new Deadpool photo on his since-expired Instagram Story showing the Marvel superhero’s back in the middle of a snowy forest. Swifties were quick to notice the similarities to Swift’s evermore album cover. Reynolds even added Swift’s “evermore” track featuring Bon Iver to the Instagram post.
The post by the actor also reignited rumors that Swift would make a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine. In 2022, Reynolds said he was game to having Swift appear in the Marvel film. He told ET, “If we shoot the next Deadpool film in our house, then that would be that location.” He added that he would like for Swift to appear in the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine saying, “Are you kidding me? I would do anything for that woman. She’s a genius.”
Over on X, fans reacted to the possible Swift cameo. One person wrote: “i hope she’s in the movie because if he’s doing this and she isn’t [sobbing emojis].” Another added a playful nickname for Taylor’s cameo: “taypool is becoming a reality omg.” A third Swiftie commented: “Deadpool X Taylor S.”
There have been previous collaborations between Swift and Reynolds. The pop icon’s “All Too Well” music video was shot at Reynolds’ and his wife Blake Lively’s home. Reynolds also made a cameo in Swift’s 2019 “You Need to Calm Down” music video.
Though Swifties want to see the Grammy winner in Deadpool 3, EW recently reported that Swift isn’t making a cameo. The news comes as IMAX debuted a new poster for the film on social media earlier this week featuring Reynolds and Hugh Jackman holding hands, wearing friendship bracelets like the ones that have become synonymous with Swift’s Eras Tour.
Director Shawn Levy revealed to the outlet that the film has many cameos, but they “didn’t want any of the cameos or characters to be the story of the movie.” He added that “the internet is a delight of rumors about the multitude of character cameos that are in this movie. Some rumors are true, some are way off base.”
