Katy Perry (Sort Of) Redeems Herself With “Swish Swish” Video
After the Saturday Night Live fiasco, and the more-than-awkward video for “Bon Appetite,” Katy Perry goes satire for the newest video “Swish Swish.”
With the “Backpack Kid,” one of the kids from Stranger Things, and a Glee Alum, Katy’s basketball team, the Tigers, take on the Sheep, which has a logo of a Wolf-In-Sheeps-Clothing. Cue the Taylor Swift shade.
Katy’s team stinks, and Nicki Minaj, who drops some bars at half time, tell Katy to get it together, and they end up slaying the competition.
Because, yeah, what kind of story would it be if she still lost?
At any rate, between the product placement for a dancing game, Terry Crews, and Molly Shannon, this ranks higher than the rest of Witness‘ releases so far.
