Phil Collins Announces Concert dates
Phil Collins is using his make-up dates in London as an excuse to play even more U.K. shows later this year.
Collins returns to the Royal Albert Hall on November 26-27 to make up for shows that were postponed when he suffered a fall in his hotel room last month.
Now Collins has built an eight-date U.K. run around them, starting November 22 in Cardiff, Wales, and finishing December 3 in Birmingham, England. It’s Collins’ first full tour in nearly a decade, and while no other territories — including North America — have been scheduled yet, but Collins tells us he’ll certainly consider playing more:
“I’m back a bit. I mean, we’re doing these three cities…and we’re basically taking it as it goes. I certainly don’t want to go back on tour again, but I think, y’know, two or three weeks of shows, then a month off, the two or three weeks of shows, that kind of thing might work. So I’m hedging my bets here. I’m just taking baby steps… But it’s exciting, and the dates are sold out so that’s more exciting ’cause it adds a bit of an edge to it.”
