March 17, 2023 – Arizona, USA
The tour kicked off at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Swift broke the record for the most attended concert by a female artist, per Newsweek. Swift greeted the fans and acknowledged how difficult it was to secure tickets for the tour. “I’m gonna take a wild guess and say that if you’re here tonight, there’s a pretty good chance that you went through a considerable amount of effort to be with us tonight. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for wanting to be with us on night one,” according to the New York Post.
May 21, 2023 – Massachusetts, USA
Rain didn’t stop the singer from performing for her fans! Despite the rain, the show went on and the “Love Story” singer performed all 44 songs on her setlist while rain-soaked.
Swift posted on her Instagram, “Last night we all danced together in the rain for THE ENTIRE 3.5 HOUR SHOW in foxy Foxborough MA!! We’ve had rain shows at Gillette Stadium before but this was a full on deluge that never let up, I just want to thank that iconic crowd!! Love you so much you have no idea,” with a heart emoji.
July 7, 2023 – Kansas, USA
Not everyone can be besties with their exes, but Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner’s friendship makes us believe it’s possible! The Twilight star, along with Joey King and Presley Cash, was Swift’s surprise guest during her show in Kansas.
Swift introduced Lautner as “A very positive force in my life when I was making the Speak Now album, and I want to say he did every single stunt that you saw in that music video. He and his wife have become some of my closest friends, and it’s very convenient because we all share the same first name,” per People.
August 9, 2023 – Los Angeles, USA
Swift announced the re-release of her 1989 album wearing a new blue outfit, the album’s signature color. According to US Weekly, the album dropped on October 27, 2023.
November 11, 2023 – Buenos Aires, Argentina
The first time Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs star watched the Eras tour was in Argentina on November 11, 2023. During Swift’s performance of her song “Karma” which referenced her ex-boyfriend, actor Joe Alwyn, she changed the lyrics from “Karma is the guy on the screen/Coming straight home to me,” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs/Coming straight home to me.”
June 21, 2024 – London, UK
Prince William let loose and danced to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off!” The royal was seen with his daughter Princeess Charlotte and son Prince George celebrating his 42nd birthday. The royal guards at Buckingham Palace also played the same song during the guard ceremony.
August 8, 2024 – Vienna, Austria
Even if the three planned concerts in Austria were canceled due to an alleged terrorist plot, this did not deter the fans from showing their support for the “Blank Space” singer. Fans gathered and sang in the streets of Vienna and placed friendship bracelets in the trees, as reported by USA Today.
October 26, 2024 – New Orleans, USA
Sabrina Carpenter, who opened for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in 2023 before headlining her own Short N’ Sweet tour, reunited with the “Willow” singer at the Ceasar Superdome in New Orleans. Carpenter posted her surprise appearance on her Instagram account and wrote, “only stage i’d ever wanna see on a day off !!!! thank you for working late, thank you for being a singer and thank you for having me 🤍 @taylorswift i love you!!”
November 3, 2024 – Indianapolis, USA
Swift closed her USA leg of the Eras tour at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The crowd of 69,000 (record-breaking attendance) met Swift with more than 3 minutes of standing ovation, per People.
December 6, 2024 – Vancouver, Canada
Vancouver, Canada, the place of the Eras tour’s last leg has 13 song-themed signs across the city and the Gastown steamed clock plays “Shake It Off” every 15 minutes. Taylor Swift felt all the Friday feels during the set, per Billboard. “This night is bound to be filled with so many different emotions, just for me, my band, my crew, my fellow performers on stage, the dancers, and for anyone that’s been with us and cared about this tour. But right now, honestly, I’m just feeling so overjoyed that we decided to spend our last shows in Vancouver. I love you so much. My face hurts from grinning.”
She added, “This has been the greatest last Friday night of the tour that I could’ve imagined with you.”
