Adele Ends Las Vegas Residency With Tearful Goodbye to ‘Weekends with Adele’
Adele has called Las Vegas her home these last two years as she hosted her epic residency, Weekends with Adele at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Now, 100 shows later she is wrapping up her residency and her time in the Sin City.
Adele Says Goodbye to Las Vegas
In a farewell to Vegas Instagram post, she wrote, “Well what an adventure! Las Vegas you’ve been so good to me. This residency went on to mirror what 30 was about – lost and broken to healed and thriving! Seems so fitting in the end. The only thing left to do in this case is move on. These 100 shows have been so easy to love. They were all completely different because I got to really be with every single person in the room every night. I’ve loved every single second of it and I am so proud of it! I will miss it terribly, and I will miss YOU all terribly too. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! See you next time.”
Adele’s Weekends with Adele in Las Vegas kicked off in November 2022 and made headlines since its opening night. Before the residency, Adele had been pretty quiet for the most part when it comes to touring, so now many (including herself) are wondering what’s next.
“I don’t know when I’m next going to perform again,” she said. “I will miss it terribly, and I will miss you terribly. I’m not doing anything else. I’m actually s–ting myself about what I am going to do. I don’t have any f–-ing plans.”
Adele’s residency has seen the likes of many of your favorite celebrities throughout the last two years. One of the most recognized moments of her show is when the singer noticed Celine Dion in the crowd at her show. The moment was captured on video and trended across social media almost immediately.
What’s next for Adele? Look like the singer is unsure of that answer herself, but we wish he the best and the chance for us to see her on tour again for those who weren’t able to make it to Vegas. See Adele’s farewell to Las Vegas on her Instagram posts here.
