Ships Have Sailed was formed by Will Carpenter, a singer-songwriter and musician. The band’s music typically features catchy melodies, relatable lyrics, and a blend of pop and rock elements.

Ships Have Sailed has gained recognition for their emotion filled music, and they have released various singles and albums over the years. Some of their popular songs include “If Only,” “Midnight,” and “Let’s Just Dance.” They’ve also actively engaged with their fanbase through social media and have performed live shows.

With Carpenter acting as the main producer in his home studio, Ships Have Sailed has recorded and released a diverse collection of albums, EPs, and singles that consistently evoke an unrestrained cathartic desire to be heard and enjoyed.

The band also recently held a virtual album release in celebration of their new album, "Ages," prompting Will to create an album remix, which was released in May of this year.

Their latest album "Ages" goes through the band’s journey as each song pivots from funky dance pop with their song "Faithless" all the way to more hard-hitting blues that’s brought in the song "More." The title track "Ages" lets the band express a more open and emotional performance.
