N.J. Weather: Thunderstorms & Flooding Ahead This Weekend

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has urged Scots to prepare for potential flooding around rivers, the sea and any surface water in areas in the west of Scotland.
New Jerseyans will have to prepare for some wet weather heading our way this weekend. Some parts of the state will experience some flooding and severe storms starting Friday with it lingering into Saturday, forecasters say per The Patch.
On Thursday however, it is expected to be around 80 for both North Jersey and South Jersey. It will also be sunny throughout most of the day as clouds will begin coming in overnight Thursday per the Good morning! Some counties might also experience some minor coastal flooding on Saturday. The affected counties are:

- Cape May

Showers likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. High near 77. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
