Downtown Somerville To Host 2022 Halloween ‘Spooktacular’
The Halloween “Spooktacular” is set to return to Downtown Somerville on Friday, October 28. The yearly event will begin at 3:00pm and run until 7:00pm with activities planned at three locations in the district.
“The “Halloween Spooktacular” is a special community event that brings out thousands of patrons each year,” said Natalie Pineiro, Downtown Somerville Alliance, Executive Director. “We can’t wait to welcome families back to the district with an even bigger celebration.”

- Trunk-Or-Treat
- Pumpkin Decorating
Hay rides will be provided to transport families around the district.
At 7:00pm participants are invited to end their evening at the Somerset County Courthouse Lawn where they can enjoy an outdoor screening of the Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus, weather permitting.
Free parking will be available in lots 1,2, and 4 during the event hours. “Spooktacular” will take place rain or shine, so those attending should come prepared in the event of rain.
