Adele Postponed Vegas Gig Due To Relationship Problems With Rich Paul

When Adele hopped on social media earlier this month to announce that her Las Vegas residency has been postponed, fans of the English songstress were heartbroken. The “Easy On Me” singer told fans that her show wasn’t ready. “We’ve tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid. Half my crew and team are [ill] with Covid and still are, and it’s been impossible to finish the show.”

Adele, 33, admitted to feeling “gutted, upset, and really embarrassed” about the situation. “So sorry to everyone that travelled to get [to the show],” she continued. “I’m really, really sorry.” Since then, there have been reports that the real reason the show was delayed was because of Adele’s displeasure with Caesars Palace’s production: from various set pieces, a choir and the sound system.

As we previously reported, Adele was “shouting and sobbing” during rehearsals on the phone to boyfriend Rich Paul. A source linked to the management team at Caesars Palace said that she was, “Just constantly on the phone with Rich… loudly shouting and sobbing. She has barely rehearsed because she is constantly in the middle of an emotional shootout.” She reportedly took a private jet to Los Angeles and went straight to Paul’s home after making her announcement.

Per Hot New Hip Hop, a new report claims that she may have pulled the plug on her performances due to issues with her boyfriend, sports agent Rich Paul. “There’s trouble in paradise. That’s why she can’t perform,” a source has shared. Insiders in Adele’s camp have seen her “crying through rehearsals and interrupting them to take phone calls with Paul.”

The singer praised her relationship with Paul in her November Oprah interview, saying, “Just the easiness of it… it’s just been very smooth.” She also shared that it was the first time she’s “loved myself and been open to loving and being loved by someone else.”
