Adele Shows Off Her American Accent In ‘SNL’ Promo

Adele is gearing up to host Saturday Night Live this weekend. In her promo, she is showing off a secret skill: doing an American accent. In the teaser for the show, Adele is announcing that she will be on with H.E.R. During one portion, Kate McKinnon playfully mocks Adele’s accent, and Adele replies in a spot-on American accent.

In another promo, Kate McKinnon jokes that she will be the musical guest instead of H.E.R. and Adele jokes that she may possibly be the musical guest too.

This will be Adele’s first time hosting Saturday Night Live. She said on Instagram, “My first ever hosting gig and for SNL of all things!!!! I’ve always wanted to do it as a stand alone moment, so that I could roll up my sleeves and fully throw myself into it, but the time has never been right. But if there was ever a time for any of us to jump head first into the deep end with our eyes closed and hope for the best it’s 2020 right?”

Saturday Night Live with Adele will air this Saturday (October 25) on NBC.
