Kelly Clarkson Sings National Anthem As Astronauts Suit Up For Historic SpaceX Dragon Launch
Kelly Clarkson gave astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley a proper send-off on Wednesday (May 27) as she sang the national anthem.
Although the astronauts didn’t make the launch due to inclement weather, fans praised The Voice coach for her rendition of the song.
In a video, shot at home, Clarkson beautifully sang the “Star-Spangled Banner” as the video rolled of the astronauts suiting up for the historic #LaunchAmerica and walking to the launch pad.
The SpaceX launch has been rescheduled for Saturday (May 29) in the afternoon. There has been no word of if Clarkson is scheduled to sing the national anthem again.
