Billy Joel, Wife Alexis Welcome Baby Girl
It’s a girl — a third one overall — for Billy Joel.
Joel’s wife, Alexis, gave birth on Sunday (October 22) to the couple’s second daughter, Remy Anne, who was born at 7:50 p.m. at New York University Hospital, weighing in at 7 lbs. 3 oz. A rep for Joel said that both mother and daughter “are doing well, and everyone is thrilled.”
The couple has a two-year-old daughter Della Rose, born shortly after they married during 2015 in Long Island, and Joel has another daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, 31, from his marriage to Christie Brinkley.
Joel has some time to bond with Remy Anne; His next show isn’t until November 3 in Indianapolis, while his next monthly Madison Square Garden date is November 18.
