The School From High School Musical Was Badly Damaged in a Flood
If you watched High School Musical so many times you can perform all of the choreography in your sleep, we’re sorry to report some sad news…
The school where they filmed this timeless classic was badly damaged in a flood recently. East High School, in Salt Lake City, Utah, was hit by a serious flash flood after rain overpowered the area’s storm drains.
As a result, the gym (where some of the film’s most iconic scenes were shot) and cafeteria filled with water. It’s estimated that the facility is dealing with about $2 million worth of damage.
But maybe, just maybe, this tragic situation is enough to bring the full cast of High School Musical back together for a reunion. Can you imagine the kind of fundraiser they could organize?
