Macy’s Holiday Gift Guide Giveaway

Nov/Dec 2024 Official Contest Rules

  These rules apply to the “Macy’s Holiday Gift Guide Giveaway” Contest (“Contest”) conducted by Beasley Media Group, LLC d/b/a WMGQ-FM (“Station,”). In addition, the General Contest Rules posted at www.magic983.com apply to this Contest. If there is a conflict between the General Contest Rules and the Rules for this Contest, the Rules for this Contest shall control.

HOW TO ENTER The Contest will begin on Friday, November 29, 2024 and end on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

To participate in the Contest, visit www.magic983.comand follow the links and instructions to enter the Contest and complete and submit the online entry form beginning on Friday, November 29, 2024 at 12:00am Eastern Time (“ET”) and ending on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 11:59pm ET (“Online Entry Period”). Online entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the Station's Privacy Policy. Limit one (1) entry per eligible person during the Online Entry Period regardless if entrant has more than one email address. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Entries submitted may not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by the Contest administrator.

There will be up to a total of fifteen (15) Daily Prize winners and one (1) Grand Prize winner selected in this Contest.  

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS This Contest is open to all Station listeners who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry into the Contest, who are legal US residents and reside in New Jersey, except where prohibited by law. Winners must possess a valid, government-issued ID and show proof of residency to verify eligibility. [PER THE STATION’S GENERAL CONTEST RULES AVAILABLE ON THEIR WEBSITE]  

PRIZES

Up to fifteen (15) Daily Prizes will be awarded in the Contest. The Daily Prizes are being provided by Macy’s and consists of one (1) one-hundred dollar ($100) Macy’s gift card. The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Daily Prize is $100.00.

Up to one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded in this Contest. The Grand Prize is being provided by Macy’s and consists of one (1) two-thousand-five-hundred-dollar ($2,500) Macy’s gift card. ARV of the Grand Prize is $2,500.00.

The gift card will be subject to the terms and conditions as set forth by the issuer of the gift card. Gift cards are not refundable or transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged for cash or credit at any time, nor will gift cards be replaced if lost or stolen.

Prizes or prize certificates must be claimed as described by the Stations at the time of winning. Prize or prize certificate must be claimed within five (5) days of winning the Grand Prize. Failure to claim Prize by the specified time will result in forfeiture of the prize. It is the winner’s sole responsibility to claim the Prize or prize certificate within the timeline provided in these Official Rules.  

SELECTION OF WINNERS

Up to one (1) Daily Prize winner will be selected at approximately 8:00AM ET on each of the following dates (for a total of fifteen (15) Daily Prize winners):

1. December 2, 2024 (Monday)

2. December 3, 2024 (Tuesday)

3. December 4, 2024 (Wednesday)

4. December 5, 2024 (Thursday)

5. December 6, 2024 (Friday)

6. December 9, 2024 (Monday)

7. December 10, 2024 (Tuesday)

8. December 11, 2024 (Wednesday)

9. December 12, 2024 (Thursday)

10. December 13, 2024 (Friday)

11. December 16, 2024 (Monday)

12. December 17, 2024 (Tuesday)

13. December 18, 2024 (Wednesday)

14. December 19, 2024 (Thursday)

15. December 20, 2024 (Friday)  

in a Station-conducted random drawing from all eligible online entries received as of 11:59 pm ET the day before drawing. Each Daily Prize winner will be notified by phone and/or email promptly following the random drawing. An entrant may only be deemed a Daily Prize winner once in the Contest. Daily Prize winners will still be eligible to win the Grand Prize.

Non-selected entries will automatically rollover into subsequent random drawings in the Contest, if any.

Up to one (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected at approximately 9:30 AM ET on December 20th, 2024 in a Station-conducted random drawing from all combined eligible online entries received during the Online Entry Period on Station’s website. The Grand Prize winner will be notified by phone and/or email promptly following the random drawing.

Odds of winning a Daily Prize depend on the number of eligible online entries received as of 11:59 pm ET the day before that respective drawing. Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the total number of eligible online entries received during the Online Entry Period.

Entrants need not listen to the Station or be present to win.

Daily Prize winner(s) and Grand Prize winner must confirm acceptance of prize within five (5) days of notice of winning, or risk disqualification and selection of an alternate Prize winner (time permitting) in a random drawing of all remaining eligible online entries received.

Decisions of Station management with respect to the Contest are final.

The Station reserves the right to end any contest or amend these rules upon announcement on air and by publication at www.magic983.com

For website contests: By use of the Station’s website and by entering this Contest, entrants agree to the Station’s Terms of Service Agreement and to the use of Personal Information as stated in the Privacy Policy located at www.magic983.com

Copies of the written Contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of the Station, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Station.
