Did You Miss These Clever Easter Eggs During The ‘How I Met Your Father’ Premiere?
The long-awaited reboot of How I Met Your Mother is finally here on Hulu under the title How I Met Your Father. Alongside a very talented cast are some pretty funny and clever Easter eggs nodding to the original series.

It all starts with the pilot episode introducing and recounting the story of how the characters meet. It’s not until Jesse and Sid, invite characters Sophie and Valentina, into their apartment. That’s where fans were given a surprise that Jesse and Sid are living in the same apartment as Ted and Marshal, from the original series. Seeing the new cast in a similar setting was a nice and clever nod to longtime fans.
The new character even mentions how cool the apartment looks and what a steal it was from the “Old married couple” that had posted it. Fans also noticed the reference made to the iconic swords left behind by the original group.

Along with the reference to the original series, at the end of the pilot episode there was a loving homage paid to Bob Saget, who sadly passed away this month. Bob, had been the narrator throughout the original series. It was a touching moment for fans and loved ones.
While only the first two episodes have released some are wondering what other Easter eggs could be around the corner. With some hoping that the new cast will pay the Pub MacLaren’s a visit. Or maybe we’ll see other references from the original series
