Justin Bieber Asks President Trump To ‘Let Kids Out Of Cages’ At The Border
Is it too late now for POTUS to say sorry? Over the weekend, Justin Bieber tweeted at President Donald Trump, asking him to do something about the migrant crisis at the border.
This request came after Trump tweeted that he was going to help free rapper A$AP Rocky, a friend of Bieber’s, from a Swedish prison. The president credited Kanye West with convincing him to help Rocky. The rapper is facing assault charges after an altercation in Stockholm earlier this month, according to CNN.
“I will be calling the very talented Prime Minister of Sweden to see what we can do about helping A$AP Rocky,” Trump tweeted. “So many people would like to see this quickly resolved!”
Just spoke to @KanyeWest about his friend A$AP Rocky’s incarceration. I will be calling the very talented Prime Minister of Sweden to see what we can do about helping A$AP Rocky. So many people would like to see this quickly resolved!

Bieber is one of those people, but he’d also like to see something else resolved, too. “I want my friend out.. I appreciate you trying to help him,” Bieber wrote. “But while your [sic] at it @realDonaldTrump can you also let those kids out of cages?”
Bieber’s tweet references the children being kept in detention centers at the border. In a New York Times report, those who have been inside the Clint, Texas facility spoke of overcrowding and said that children weren’t being given access to blankets, toothbrushes, and soap. Trump has yet to respond to Bieber’s message.
