Impractical Joker Sal Vulcano Coming for One Funny Night to Red Bank, NJ
When the show Impractical Jokers starring Sal Vulcano and his three childhood buddies premiered in 2011, my kids became obsessed with it immediately. It was always on in our house, and the laughs were non-stop. The show is still on just about all the time, and in syndication with thirteen international versions.
Sal Vulcano is well known for being the Impractical Jokers co-creator, executive producer, and one of the stars of what is one of the most recognized and long-standing comedy shows of all time.
It’s amazing to me because as we discussed in our interview, Sal and the other jokers didn’t audition separately for the show, they have been friends since ninth grade and created it themselves.
It wasn’t easy in the beginning, “We were a comedy troop and we were trying to break into the business, and we had a lot of failures. Then an opportunity came from being prepared and a bunch of luck. We thought of the show a week before and got the gig for Impractical Jokers, and here we are at almost three hundred episodes, Season Eleven just started a few weeks ago Thursdays on TBS.”
Their tour has sold out Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall seven times each, and have sold over one million tickets.
Sal Vulcano Everything’s Fine Tour
After Sal Vulcano wraps up his tour with the boys, he heads out solo for his two-year “Everything’s Fine” stand-up comedy tour. This is his second headline theater tour, with 28 dates already announced for 2024-2025, and many more dates will be added next year. “I flip flop, I tour with the guys for a couple years, then solo, this tour will be all new material which will lead to my second special.”
He’s touring on the heels of his recently released first solo standup special, “Terrified” which you can watch on YouTube.
Sal’s solo stand-up career has grown significantly over the past few years. He wrapped a solo national stand-up tour last year where he sold out shows in 60 cities across the country at venues including The Beacon Theatre.
Sal Vucano will be performing at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey on December 27, 2024. Tickets for his only show in the Garden State are available now.
