Manville Theatre Celebrating Silver Anniversary of Watching Movies
We’ve all grown accustomed to watching movies at home. We’ve got humongous televisions and access to just about every film that has ever been released. Reading Cinemas Manville Celebrates 25 Years of Watching Movies
Today marks 25 years since Reading Cinemas Manville opened its doors to New Jersey film lovers. To celebrate its silver anniversary, the theater is thanking moviegoers with a day of special offers.
Steve Harvey is the general manager of Reading Cinemas Manville and said, “It has been an honor to be able to exhibit current films and signature programming to the community for the last 25 years. We’re amazed at the love and support from Somerset County and look forward to many years to come.”
Watching Movies and Cheap Concessions
You’ll be able to get concession specials throughout the day, including 25-cent bags of small popcorn and 25-cent small sodas. There will also be a special cake-cutting ceremony in the lobby at 6 p.m.
May 14th also falls on a Half-Price Tuesday this year, so they’re also giving additional concession deals. It’s fifty percent off chicken tenders and wings.
All movie tickets are also half-off all day for all current releases and show times. This includes the premium Titan Luxe with Dolby Atmos surround sound.
Half-priced films include all current releases including, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, The Fall Guy, Challengers, Not Another Church Movie, Tarot, and Civil War. You can also check out Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace which is back in theatres for its 25th anniversary. When watching movies at Reading Cinemas Manville began, The Mummy, opened at the theater on May 14, 1999. There will be $5 special screenings of the Brendan Frasier movie throughout the day.
