Update: Actor Drake Bell Has Been Found After Being ‘Missing And Endangered’ In Florida, Says Police
UPDATE: Police confirmed on April 13 around 1:26 p.m. that Bell has been found. They said, “At this time, we can confirm law enforcement officials are in contact and Mr. Bell is safe.”
Earlier on Thursday, it was reported that Bell was missing by Daytona Beach Florida.
You may know him from Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh or possibly from his child endangerment case in 2021. According to a police report, actor Drake Bell was “missing and endangered” in Daytona Beach Florida. Daytona Beach Police Department posted to their Facebook page on April 13 that the actor was missing. They referred to him by his legal name Jared Bell in the post. “Officers are looking for Jared Bell, DOB 06/27/1986,” said officials. “He should be traveling in a 2022 grey BMW and his last known location is potentially the area of Mainland High School.” This was on April 12 just before 9 p.m. They also added that “he was considered missing and endangered.”

People quickly flooded the police department’s Facebook post with comments. “Praying this young man is found,” said a commenter. While other commenters questioned why the actor was near a high school, “Maybe he should stop going after underage girls and this wouldn’t be happening. Bet someone’s daddy got ahold of him.”
Another commenter said “To all those people saying shouldn’t he be in jail etc. Since that case there’s been a lot of misinformation which has taken a toll on him and its been horrible to witness.” They continued to say, “Drake has a child and a wife. So if you’re all decent human beings you would all wish he comes home safe.”
Bell, 36, co-starred with Josh Peck in the popular Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh for four seasons in the early 2000s. He also made headlines in 2021 when he was sentenced to two years’ probation and community service after pleading guilty in Ohio to a felony charge of attempting to endanger children and a misdemeanor charge of disseminating material harmful to juveniles stemming from a 2017 incident in Ohio involving a teenage girl.
