Nicki Minaj Gushes Over Boyfriend, Hints They Will Marry Soon
Nicki Minaj is hinting that she is almost ready to walk down the aisle with her boyfriend Kenneth Petty.
In an interview with Queen Radio, Nicki told fans that she had already obtained a marriage license and seemed to suggest they were gearing up to say their vows.
Nicki also revealed that Petty is all about who she truly is and not her celebrity persona.
âHe wonât even say the word âNicki,â” she said. “He has called me Onika since I was 15 so itâs hard to change that. I wouldnât date anyone cuz Iâm about to be married to my soulmate. But that was the problem, others r infatuated w/Nicki Minaj he DGAF about this industry & is very protective.”
Nicki’s relationship hasn’t been without scandal though as Petty has previously served prison time for attempted first-degree rape and first-degree manslaughter, according to multiple reports.
But Nicki has never had a problem with his past and has defended him.
“We did get our marriage license,” she said. âI think I have what I was striving for, just happiness. It was so hard to get to a happy place. Now that Iâm there I donât want to compromise that for anyone of anything. Certain traveling things I donât wanna do it. Iâm just enjoying my downtime.â
As for their future, she added:Â âIâm not saying Iâm pregnant,â but revealed, âThatâs the end goal.â
