Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons Reportedly Split
Just weeks after calling her relationship “sacred” in an interview with Vogue, new reports say model and reality star Kendall Jenner has split from NBA player Ben Simmons.
The news comes fresh off of a devastating loss for Simmons’ team, the 76ers, in the NBA finals.
According to People Magazine, the couple is “on a break.”
“The relationship ran its course,” a source close to Jenner told the magazine. “She’s spending time with her friends and back to being in fun mode.”
Earlier this month, she told Vogue Australia that she hoped to get married one day but in the meantime wanted to keep her romances private.
“I’m very young and right now I feel like relationships aren’t always super-certain and I don’t want to bring too much attention to something if you don’t really know long term [what it’s going to be],” she told Vogue.
“A relationship is only meant to be between two people,” she added. “And the second you make it the world’s business is when it starts messing with the two people mentally. Like once everyone is let in, you’re letting all these opinions into your relationships, and I don’t think that’s fair.”
Jenner had only confirmed the relationship publicly back in February on Ellen. No official word has been released yet from either her or Simmons.
