Lawsuit Filed Over Janet Jackson Video Shoot
Janet Jackson recently shot a music video for her new song, No Sleeep, featuring J. Cole at a home owned by a gentleman named David Tate.
During the process of filming, the production company, Zanmi Films, caused significant damage to Tate’s walls and floors. Pre-filming, Zanmi Films agreed to cover any damages that the filming process caused in the home. Apparently, they never followed through with that promise.
According to TMZ, Tate had to front the money for the repairs and also had to evacuate the home for two whole weeks. Unfortunately, he still hasn’t been compensated for fronted money.
Tate is suing Zanmi for more than a million dollars and we have to say we can’t blame him.
Do you think Tate has an easy case on his hands or do you think there is more to the story?
