Battle Of The Beer Fests This Weekend for National Drink Beer Day
This Saturday is National Drink Beer Day, and very few events are more enjoyable than a Beer Fest on a crisp Fall day. It’s that time of year, with Octoberfest kicking off in less than a week and the weather is perfect to down a few brews with family and friends.
Central Jersey Beer Fest Info
One option is the Central Jersey Beer Festival (#CJBeerFest). You can pretty much find a Beer Fest on just about any weekend during the Autumn months and this year is no different. In fact, this Saturday, September 28th, there are a couple of places to choose from where you can find a Beer Fest, you’re just going to have to decide which one you want to attend.
This event is organized annually by a local restaurant, Blend Bar and Bistro. It’s being held at the Mercer County Park Festival Grounds on Old Trenton Road in West Windsor Township from 12 pm to 6 pm.
According to the Beer Fest website, “This is a tasting festival event, full-sized beer, wine and spirits are not legally permitted.” You must be 21 or older to enter the festival, no kids will be permitted. The festival is only a sampling of many brands to taste, educate, and expand your palate of new beverages. However, it doesn’t mention anything about a limit on “tastings.”
There will be 2-ounce tastings of beer, 1-ounce samples of wine, and .05-ounce cups of spirits available. There will be multiple vendors, food, and live entertainment.
Here’s the Beer Fest tasting schedule:
VIP Exclusive tasting is from 12 pm to 1 pm
Non-VIP tastings are from 1 pm to 5 pm for all in attendance
The last call for alcoholic beverage tasting is at 5 pm
Food trucks and live music continue from 5 pm to 6 pm
The event is rain or shine, click here for more information and to purchase tickets.
