Even though some colleges no longer require SAT scores for acceptance we all know how important the SAT can be for students wanting to attend college. I have two kids starting college in September and we went through all of the stress of testing and retesting to attain the score they wanted. It all worked out ok, and it’s interesting to see where our kids rank in the state and in the country.
Now that the test can be administered digitally, the folks at Learner were curious to know how SAT scores vary in each state throughout the nation.
Learner’s analysts looked at SAT data across the nation to find out which states have the highest (and lowest) SAT scores. They found that Wisconsin is number one with a score of 1252, 202 above the national average. West Virginia finished last with an average score of 938, 112 below the national average. Our neighbors in Pennsylvania came in at 26, while New York landed at 31 on the list.

These Celebrities Have An April Birthday
April ignites a fire within the spring season, with Aries season from April 1st to the 19th. The fiery sign Aries, represented by the ram, is the first sign of the zodiac. Aries love being number one and are widely known to be bold, passionate leaders. Sometimes this sign can be seen as negative to those who are unfamiliar with Aries. They are usually very direct, and this can be seen as rude or arrogant. When it comes to actors who are Aries, this trait seems only further to propel them into their craft.
About half of Aries born in April are co-ruled by Jupiter, so they are all about saying yes to adventures and expanding their horizons. This free-spirited and lucky planetary influence emphasizes the thrill-seeking and risk-taking ways of April Aries. Those who are Aries in April tend to be super confident and party animals.
April Taurus Traits
As for the last ten days of April, celebrities born from the 20th until the end of the month fall under the earth sign Taurus. This sign’s traits include being hard-headed yet down-to-earth. Taurus signs are known to be tenacious, reliable, loyal, and achievement-oriented. As a sign, Taurus is fixed, which means Taureans are excellent at prioritizing consistency and reliability in all areas of their lives.
Given that their ruling planet is Venus, the planet that governs love, beauty, and money, Taurus tend to be artistic and romantic. April Tauruses are known for being loyal, dependable, and trustworthy. This sign is represented by the bull, and Tauruses born in April are enchanted by luxurious objects and are very sensual.

Joel Katz is the Morning Show Personality, Assistant Program Director, Podcast Host, Voiceover artist, audio producer, and Digital Content Writer for Magic 98.3. Joel has been working in New Jersey radio since college and started at Magic in 2002 as the Morning Show Host, “I can’t think of another place where I’d fit more perfectly; it’s just a great company with awesome people.” Joel is married to Kathleen, his elementary school sweetheart (they were each other’s first dates at age 9), shares a birthday with his oldest son, Ty, and has twins, Kiera and Liam. Joel runs at least 3.1 miles every day and enjoys playing basketball, doing laundry, saving his turn signal for when he really needs it, kissing dogs through a fence, using coasters, making that cool noise by rubbing his fingers on balloons, and chasing after ping pong balls on a windy cruise ship.
