One meet-up group in London makes taking a walk ten times better because it includes dogs.
The London Lowriders are a group of people who bring their sausage dogs together for a walk. According to Time Out, people who are members of the group meet up to walk their adorable dogs, each time selecting a different route to take their pups.
Most recently, around 100 four-legged friends and their owners gathered together to strut their stuff through the snowy backdrop of London’s Greenwich Park wearing their best Christmas gear.
When the walk was over, all the owners and dogs got to stop by the nearest pub for a brew and refuge from the winter winds.
Sausage Walk London was founded by Grace And-Lygate, Catherine Hennigan, and Katherine Sofoluke according to Yahoo! News. They announce new themes and upcoming walking plans. Those who are looking to join the walking group can keep up with upcoming events by checking the hashtag #SausageWalkLondon.
For those folks that are a little too far away from London, get a glimpse of past adventures by following the hashtag. Maybe you'll get inspired to start the sausage dog movement on our side of the pond!
