Kim Kardashian Joins ‘American Horror Story’ Season 12 Cast

Kim Kardashian is trying her hand at becoming a "scream queen." The Kardashians star announced that she is set to star in the upcoming season of American Horror Story with Emma Roberts. On Monday (April 10), Kim, 42, shared a teaser for the 12th season of the horror series. The clip features the message, "Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are delicate," and is set to a creepy version of "Rock-a-Bye Baby."

Kardashian captioned the clip with two emojis: the shifty eyes and a blood drop. Roberts, who joined AHS on season three's Coven, posted the same teaser. She added on her Instagram caption: "This summer…Kim and I are DELICATE."

Commenting on Kim's announcement, one fan wrote, "This is the 2023 plot twist I didn’t see coming!!!!!!" Another said, "The iconery I cannot." One person said, "Emma Roberts AND KIM? In MY AHS? The gays will go extinct."

Series co-creator Ryan Murphy shared his excitement for the reality star joining AHS as well. He told The Hollywood Reporter, "Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family. Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture." He said that Kim's told is going to be "fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying." Of the upcoming season, Murphy said it will be "ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done."

Murphy was impressed by Kim's Saturday Night Live hosting debut in October 2021, according to the outlet. The role marks her biggest acting gig. She had minor roles in 2009's Disaster Movie, CSI: NY and Drop Dead Diva. She also played herself in How I Met Your Mother, 30 Rock and Two Broke Girls.

American Horror Story season 12 will premiere this summer. The season is titled Delicate and will be about a woman who becomes convinced that a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens.

Rounding out the top three is Billie Eilish, with an average of 52,300 monthly fashion searches. The "No Time To Die" singer saw the most interest with the term "Billie Eilish outfits," which has 22,000 average monthly searches and "Billie Eilish street style" which has 8,500 monthly searches globally.

Other public figures include some British royalty, more members of the Kardashian/Jenner family, singers and models. Out of all the celebrities analyzed, Hailey Bieber ranked highest when it came to searches for her street style with the term "Hailey Bieber street style" being searched 12,500 times each month on average.

Despite her death in 1997, Princess Diana’s style is still one of the most sought-after around the world, coming in at the tenth spot. There are 26,030 searches for Princess Diana’s style each month around the world, with the search term "Princess Diana fashion" being Googled 7,000 times a month globally.

Other influential celebrities include: Audrey Hepburn, who ranks 11th with 25,050 monthly global searches for her style. Princess Diana and Audrey Hepburn also highlight the styles that stand the test of time alongside the current trending styles that are typically worn by the likes of Kendall Jenner and Zendaya.
