Kim Kardashian Says North Doesn’t Like That She Wears ‘Too Much Black’

Kim Kardashian's first-born North West doesn't hold back when it comes to critiquing her mother's fashion choices.

Kardashian, 41, discussed North's opinions on her fashion choices at Vogue's Forces of Fashion conference Tuesday (March 22), sharing that the 8-year-old isn't always impressed with what her mom is wearing — especially if the SKIMS founder doesn't incorporate any color.

"North is very opinionated when it comes to what I'm wearing," Kim said. "She'll always complain when I'm wearing too much black. I showed up at her school on Valentine's Day wearing head-to-toe pink, and she got so excited she ran over and hugged me. [Of course] she opened my coat, saw the black lining, and says, 'Mom, you're still wearing black.' "

Along with North, Kardashian is also mom to Psalm, 2, Chicago, 4, Saint, 6, all of whom she shares with ex Kanye West.

North is quite the little fashionista, getting credit for styling the Kardashian kids for a March Vogue cover shoot.

In a December 2021 interview with journalist Bari Weiss, Kardashian joked North can be more intimidating than some political figures she has met. "Who intimidates me? I was going to say politicians, but they don't. Maybe just my daughter, North," Kardashian said.
