Chance The Rapper Channels Motown Era During ‘Eternal’ Performance On ‘Ellen’
Chance The Rapper appeared on The Ellen Show on Wednesday (Sept. 11) and performed his single “Eternal” from his debut album, The Big Day, alongside rapper Smino who was featured on the track.
During the Motown-inspired performance, the 26-year-old Chicago native performed rocking a white and black tuxedo that Ellen Degeneres also matched.
Chance The Rapper also showed the audience his dance moves, which were very reminiscent of The Temptations.
During Chance’s visit on The Ellen Show, he also discussed his new daughter, Marli Grace Bennett, who is now a week old, and his longtime relationship with his wife, Kirsten.
DeGeneres joked with the rapper regarding him sharing photos of her on social media but not showing her face. Chance jokingly responded by describing Marli, while not actually giving any real details.
“She looks a lot like… She does have hair. She has a lot of hair. She has a nose. A round nose, similar to me and Kensli’s, ” he said, referring to his eldest daughter.
