Sir Elton shared, "29 years ago today, I was a broken man. I finally summoned up the courage to say 3 words that would change my life: 'I need help.' Thank you to all the selfless people who have helped me on my journey through sobriety. I am eternally grateful. Elton xo."
John has been very forthcoming about his struggles with addiction and made a point to highlight them in the film Rocketman. They will undoubtedly be prominently featured in his upcoming memoir, which is currently slated for release in October and is available for pre-order at Macmillan.com.
