Racquel Williams


Racquel Williams began her radio career at her college radio station at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. She landed her first anchoring job at WSUS in Franklin, NJ. From there Racquel moved on to WCTC/WMGQ in Somerset as a news anchor and talk show host and later to New Jersey 101.5. Racquel was also one of the founding news staff members of New York’s short lived, FM News 101.9. She most recently worked for iHeart Media as a news anchor for 710 WOR and as national anchor for 24/7 News Source.

Racquel has won several awards from organizations such as, the Associated Press, New Jersey Broadcasters Association and Garden State Association of Black Journalists. Notable breaking news stories include: 9/11, The East Coast Power Grid Blackout, and Governor Jim McGreevey’s controversial departure from office.

Racquel lives in South Jersey with her husband and two energetic girls.
