There is a fine line between being cheap and frugal. While both terms refer to spending less money, there are some key differences between the two.
Cheap people are focused on saving money at all costs. They may be willing to sacrifice quality, convenience, or even their own happiness in order to save a few dollars. They may also be rude or inconsiderate to others in order to get what they want.
Frugal people, on the other hand, are focused on getting the most value for their money. They are willing to spend money on things that are important to them, but they are also careful to avoid wasting money on things that are not. They are also typically more patient and willing to do things themselves in order to save money.

According to an article published by Finance Buzz, "Living a frugal lifestyle is one of the best ways to eliminate some money stress." However, here are some signs that you're cheap, not frugal...

You skip thing that are important to save money

You don't tip properly

You dumpster dive

You complain just to get a discount

You buy things knowing you'll return them after you use them

You take home condiment packets from restaurants
