As we get closer to summer, we start to think about the way we look in shorts, dresses, swimsuits, tank tops and just about everything we wear that shows skin! I came across these tips from Eat This, Not That! and thought it’s worth sharing with you – Maryann Morgan

  • 1.

    They recommend eating high-quality carbs like beans, quinoa, lentils, chickpeas, and sweet potatoes in place of things like bagels, pizza, and sugar-filled snacks.

  • 2.

    Snack Smarter. Fill your hands with raw almonds, veggie, and hummus instead of chips and cookies.

  • 3.

    Drink two or more glasses of water BEFORE EVERY MEAL. Drinking the water will make you feel full faster and help with the temptations of overeating.

  • 4.

    Eat your vegetable first and don’t ignore them. They are filled with protein and fiber and will help you to feel full.

  • 5.

    Satisfy your sweet tooth with fruit. The sugar in the fruit will satisfy the craving and keep it healthy.

  • 6.

    Eat every three to four hours and consume most of your calories before 8 p.m.

  • 7.

    Don’t forget to reward yourself, but don’t use food as your reward.
