Here’s a list of some cool places to check out!
1. Alstede Farms - Chester New Jersey
When it comes to growing a local and family-friendly community Alstede farms goes beyond as they still have plenty of opportunities for you to head on out between the hours of 9 am to 5 pm to pick your own strawberries. And with a beautiful family owned business you know you’re really connecting to the local community.

2. Bonacorsi Family Farm – Frenchtown, New Jersey
If you haven’t made your way out to the Bonacorsi Family Farm yet, don’t miss the chance as they come close to wrapping up the season. They offer exciting experiences for all as well as a twilight strawberry picking event from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

3. Farms View – Wayne, New Jersey
Farms View located in Wayne New Jersey has been a long standing market since 1874 growing overtime to the beautiful and lush farm that it is today. With plenty of options you can’t go wrong checking them out as they were awarded the Century Farm Award by the New Jersey Agricultural Society. 4. Johnson’s Corner Farm – Medford, New Jersey
This place puts the “f” in fun as Johnson’s Corner farm is more than just a market. It’s place that connects families and the local community by offering a wide variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy, which are but not limited to Gem mining, Harvest Hayrides, Pedal Go-karts and much more. 5. Lee Turkey Farm – East Windsor, New Jersey
The Lee Tuckey Farm in East Windsor has been rising turkeys for 80 years and creating memorable moments for just as long as they have a wide variety of items for you to pick along their 54 acer land. Hours are Monday through Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 2pm to 6pm with last entry into the farm everyday set for 5 PM.
6. Ort Farms – Long Valley, New Jersey
Another Long standings family business the Ort Farm has grown a lot since the 1800s eventually expanding to become well known with the area. They ran one of the first pick your own events in the area and now it has become a staple of their business. But they offer more than just picking berries. As family’s can come to enjoy a lush picnic area, farm animal section as well as pony and train rides on the weekends. 7. Peterson Farm – Flemington, New Jersey
The Peterson Farm has a lot to offer when it comes to family fun at the right price as they operated primarily as a dairy farm. Now expanding to new heights from trees for the holiday season to pick your own. You can rest assured that the community is coming together to make a real meaningful experience for you. At current Peterson Farm operates Wednesday and Thursday 3 PM to 7 PM and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 9 AM to 6 PM. 8. Phillips Farms – Milford, New Jersey
The Phillips farm offers an amazing market and pick your own all on a picturesque set of land that really takes your breath away. Opened everyday expect Tuesdays from 9am to 6pm. They offer a wide variety of ripe products to choose from as well as a family spanning over six generations that are dedicated to making your experience a happy one.
