Beach Tag Program
The Cape May Point Beach Tag Program has been in operation since 1972. We provide a number of services on the beaches here at the Point. We sell daily, weekly, and seasonal beach tags to anyone 12 and over who wishes to gain access to our beaches from the 3rd Saturday in June through Labor Day while lifeguards are on duty.

Seasonal beach tags for summer 2023 will go on sale starting Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022. A discounted $30 price will remain in effect through May 31, 2023. On June 1, the price increases to $35. Beach Tags are required for all beachgoers, ages 12 and older, and are in effect from June 3, 2023 through September 3 2023.

Beach control operations are led by Anne VanHise from the North Beach office located on the Boardwalk at Kearney Avenue. The staff includes dozens of beach attendants and cashiers. Seaside Heights charges a beach fee to help defray expenses related to providing visitors one of the cleanest and safest public beaches on the East Coast.
