We are counting down the days till the end of summer, though nobody said we couldn’t lose count at one of our favorite rooftop bars, though nobody wants to travel all the way to New York just for a rooftop bar. Well, don’t worry we found seven awesome places right here in the Garden State for you to kick back and relax in.

  • 1. Red Rock Tap & Grill, Red Bank NJ

To start the list off right we’re heading to Red Bank staple, you can get a beautiful overlook of the nightlife all while enjoying drinks, food and even on occasion live music. After a long day at the beach or a long day at work, who wouldn’t want to bring their closest friends to this awesome location to enjoy a night you won’t forget.

  • 2. Porta, Jersey City NJ

If you were to take some of New Jerseyan’s favorite items like pizza and drinks and added them together with a stunning view, you’d get a fantastic experience at Porta’s in Jersey City, not only is this location hailed as one of the best late-night spots in the country, but with a large variety of drinks and food you can really take control of the night and make it a magical one.

  • 3. Salvation Rooftop at The Asbury Hotel, Asbury Park NJ

Now this is dining with a view right at the Asbury Hotel you can get that lovely beach vibe all from the comfort of a rooftop, of course reservations have to be made to enjoy this killer location, but once there guests can enjoy an assortment of drinks local to Asbury Park. With August just getting started you still have time to have fun in the sun.

  • 4. Harry’s Ocean Bar and Grille, Cape May

Now this is what we call fine dining as you can enjoy the ocean view all while sipping on freshly made cocktails as well as a full list of crushes that will cool you off after a day in the blistering heat. New Jersey might be in a heatwave, but now we can be in a cool wave while still getting your tan on.

  • 5. Alto Rooftop at The MC Hotel, Montclair

The Alto rooftop moves away from the beach, but still captures all the beauty of New Jersey it stands as Monclair’s only rooftop, you can enjoy the skyline while sipping on your choice of wine, beer, or cocktails, but the fun doesn’t stop there as if you get hungry you can order BareBurger and have it brought up to the rooftop and right to your hungry friends.

  • 6. Little Tijuana, Newark

Little Tijuana, in Newark, by far takes the cake for aesthetics as they put the garden in Garden State. Visitors can enjoy the amazing and colorful hanging plants all while taking advantage of their vast margarita bar and menu full of delicious items. They even went as far as to bring on James Beard nominee Chef David Viana to curate the menu.

  • 7. Paulie’s Brickhouse, Jersey City

Last, but certainly not least is Paulie’s Brickhouse, so we’re heading back to Jersey City for this one as guests can enjoy that stunning NYC skyline all from the comfort of their home state, but you can also enjoy some Italian classics like chicken parm, meatballs and more. You can also pick from their handful of beers, regular or even frozen cocktails and finally desserts to die for, though reservation is required so if you want to celebrate the last month of the summer in style you can’t go wrong here.

But in all honesty, any of these locations are great choices for spending the summer in style and more importantly spending it in New Jersey with us at Magic 98.3. Keep updated on all your local news and jersey hit locations all right here.
