The 34th Annual North Brunswick Heritage Day will be held on Saturday, September 24th at Community Park off Route 130 South at 1 p.m. Rain date is on Sunday, September 25th.
The event will include bands, horse and carriage rides, Indian Dance, African Dance and drummer workshop, kids rides, crafts and plenty of food. Entertainment will include Segunda Quimbamba Folkloric, Barynya (Russian, Cossack, Siberian, Gypsy and Jewish Dance), Latin Salsa music from David Cedeno Salsa American Orchestra, jazz music from Valerie and the Dimensions and a popular new band, Rivers Monroe.
The Heritage Day Idol competition is back for its second year as musicians showcase their talent.
The Ann Marie Chandlee Heritage Day Award ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. followed by Rivers Monroe and fireworks to cap off the evening.
