Get ready Magic cause James Taylor is coming to PNC Bank Art Center! Well-known American singer-songwriter and guitarist James Taylor is spending an evening with his all star band in Jersey. He was born on March 12, 1948, in Boston, Massachusetts. Taylor’s music style incorporates elements of folk, rock, and pop, and he is renowned for his distinctive voice and introspective songwriting. But his start to music had much more humble beginnings In the late 1960s, Taylor moved to New York City to pursue a career in music. He signed with Apple Records and released his self-titled debut album, “James Taylor,” in 1968

Now he is a Multi Grammy award winning artist known for his hit songs like his 1970 “Fire and Rain which is is one of his most iconic hits and deals with personal struggles and emotions. As well as his cover of friend Carol King’s 1970 song “You’ve Got A Friend.” which is now considered one of his signature songs.
