Keyport GardenWalk, June 6th and 7th, 2015 – 11:00AM – 3:00PM, is a free, self-guided walking/biking tour of 38 public and private gardens in historic Keyport (Monmouth County). Begin your visit by picking up your complimentary Keyport GardenWalk Garden Guide at the Keyport Waterfront Park pavilion (American Legion Drive). The Garden Guide includes garden descriptions and a map to assist you in navigating the gardens. Keyport offers ample free municipal and street parking.
There are free GardenTalks each morning at 9:30AM at Keyport Borough Hall – 70 West Front Street. June 6th GardenTalk Speaker is Pegi Ballister-Howells of WCTC radio’s “The Garden Show” – “Plant This – Alternatives to Overused Plants and Shrubs” and June 7th GardenTalk Speaker is Arleen Swart of Sea Grass Design and Landscape LLC. “Container gardening-Thrillers, Chillers and Spillers – Learn professional tips and tricks to create dazzling container gardens”.
