The Franklin Township Food Bank in Somerset, NJ is holding its 25th annual Tour De Franklin bike ride fundraiser on Sunday, April 27, 2014. The Tour de Franklin includes seven events throughout the day, ranging from a 62 mile bike ride to a 1 -5 mile ride/walk. The day starts at 7:30 AM with a well-marked, on road, 62 mile bike ride, with over 100 participants from the east coast. The 40-mile, 25-mile, and 10-mile rides start later, and 1-5 mile rides and walks along the scenic D&R Canal path are included so that everyone in the community can participate. There is a free bike drawing, lunch to all attendees, and everyone gets a t-shirt.
