On This Weeks Edition of @Central Jersey with Maggie Glynn, It’s All About Staying Safe This Summer From West Nile and Zika To Staying Safe While Bicycling and Walking on Our Roads Download

Download June 5th, 2016

We are into mosquito season, so I thought it might be a good idea to revisit my interviews with Middlesex County Mosquito Extermination Commission Superintendent Deepak Matadha, about West Nile, their work toward eradicating mosquitoes and what you can do in your own backyard.

This past week a baby was born here in Jersey with birth defects as a result of the Zika vius.  NJ State Epidemiologist Dr. Tina Tan provides an update of what we should be aware of concerning the Zika virus now that summer and mosquito season has begun.

And lastly, we talk with Cyndi Steiner, the Executive Director of the New Jersey Bike & Walk Coalition, about how you can get involved in making our roads safer for those of us that walk or bicycle.
