Tickets went on sale for the New Jersey Symphony's 2026-27 season. Moviegoers can watch films with live orchestras. Families can attend holiday concerts. Multiple venues across the state will host these events.

Patrons can buy tickets at njsymphony.org or dial 1.800.ALLEGRO. Package deals save buyers 20% versus single-ticket prices. Six locations will present performances: the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, State Theatre New Jersey in New Brunswick, Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, Richardson Auditorium in Princeton, Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, and Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, per Broadway World.com.

2026-2027 NJ Symphony Season

Hollywood Hits: From West Side Story to Spirited Away kicks off the season on October 10 and 11. Conductor Keitaro Harada will guide musicians through selections from West Side Story and An American in Paris, plus Joe Hisaishi's score to Spirited Away.

Rick Steves will present Rick Steves' Europe: A Symphonic Journey on November 7 and 8. The show combines Romantic-era compositions with high-definition video and Steve's thoughts on European history.

Holiday fans can hear Handel's Messiah on December 18 and 20. Conductor Kedrick Armstrong leads soloists Jessica Rivera, Kelley O'Connor, Martin Bakari, and Adam Lau, performing with Montclair State University Singers under director Heather J. Buchanan. The Lunar New Year Celebration Concert: Year of the Goat arrives January 30, starring conductor Naomi Woo and pianist Sophia Liu.

Two concerts introduce young listeners to Russian masters. Discover Rachmaninoff on January 23 brings pianist Tony Siqi Yun, who plays Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. Discover Tchaikovsky on May 15, which delivers Symphony No. 4.

Movies with live music return this season. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl in Concert runs February 26, 27, and 28, with conductor Lawrence Loh leading Klaus Badelt's score. Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert plays May 20 through 23 at four different sites.
