Somerset Patriots Host Trivia Night With Buffet and Prizes on April 16

The Somerset Patriots will run a Friendly Feud Trivia Night at TD Bank Ballpark on Thursday, April 16. They'll face the Reading Fightin Phils that evening. Fans can compete in Feud-style team trivia from the SK Club during the game.

Tickets run $45 per person. That gets you into the SK Club, a spot in the competition, an all-you-can-eat buffet, and unlimited soft drinks until the seventh inning. Want something stronger? A cash bar sells alcoholic drinks.

Trent Van Doren runs the show. Teams battle through trivia rounds while the baseball game unfolds, competing for Patriots gear, a $50 gift card to the Rail in Whitehouse Station, and a $50 gift card from Van Doren Oil Company, according to MILB.com.

What's on the buffet? Sabrett hot dogs, chicken tenders, garden salad, penne vodka, and baby baker potatoes. Food gets served between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Gates swing open at 5:30 p.m. The first pitch and trivia kick off at 6:35 p.m.

The trivia works like the Feud. Surveys decide answers. The top five responses appear on the board. The number one answer scores the most points. Winners collect prizes all night long.

Fans can build teams and purchase tickets as a group. The organization will reach out to ticket buyers before the event to collect team details.
