Flufffy Fluffy Brings Soufflé Pancakes To Newly Opened Spot in Edison, NJ

A new Fluffy Fluffy Café started serving customers signature soufflé pancakes at 1851 Route 27 in Edison, New Jersey. Edison's Mayor Sam Joshi cut the ribbon at the grand opening on Oct. 10, marking the chain's second site in the state.
The shop brings light-as-air Japanese pancakes to central New Jersey diners. Making these treats takes skill: chefs whip fresh eggs to peaks, then cook them slowly over gentle heat for 20 minutes.
"This new café is part of our ongoing effort to revitalize the Route 27 corridor," said Mayor Joshi, according to Patch.
The menu goes well past pancakes. Guests can pick from eggs Benedict, rich Basque cheesecake, and special drinks. The name comes from "Fuwa Fuwa," Japanese for fluffy, where these pancakes mark happy times.
After success at Newport Mall in Jersey City, this marks their second New Jersey spot. The business now runs shops in eight states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and now New Jersey.
Social media can't get enough of these treats. Videos show off how the pancakes bounce and jiggle. Unlike flat diner-style pancakes, these puff up light and airy thanks to special cooking methods.
Want to try them? Stop by any day. Doors open at 11 a.m. on weekdays, staying open until 9 p.m. Weekend hours start earlier at 9 a.m.
