Thank you for being exactly the human that you are. Never change. Never wilt.â
Brandon Sklenar and Jenny Slate
Brandon Sklenar and Jenny Slate are Lively and Baldoniâs co-stars in It Ends with Us. Sklenar who plays Atlas Corrigan, Livelyâs characterâs love interest, posted a link to a New York Times article about Livelyâs lawsuit on his Instagram story (via E!News), with the caption, âFor the love of God read this,â and tagged Lively.Â
Slate, who plays Allysa, Livelyâs sister-in-law in the film, told Today, âAs Blake Livelyâs castmate and friend, I voice my support as she takes action against those reported to have planned and carried out an attack on her reputation. Blake is a leader, loyal friend and a trusted source of emotional support for me and so many who know and love her. What has been revealed about the attack on Blake is terribly dark, disturbing, and wholly threatening. I commend my friend, I admire her bravery, and I stand by her side.âÂ
Paul Feig
The director of Livelyâs movie A Simple Favor with Anna Kendrick also showed he is on Livelyâs side. Paul Feig wrote on X (formerly Twitter), âIâve now made two movies with Blake and all I can say is sheâs one of the most professional, creative, collaborative, talented and kind people Iâve ever worked with. She truly did not deserve any of this smear campaign against her. I think itâs awful she was put through this.â
Amy Schumer
The comedian posted a simple message on her Instagram story, âI believe Blake.â The two are not close friends and Schumer previously roasted Lively on her sketch show, Inside Amy Schumer, according to Deadline.
Amber Heard
In a statement shared with NBC News, Amber Heard said of the smear campaign against Lively, âSocial media is the absolute personification of the classic saying âA lie travels halfway around the world before truth can get its boots on.â I saw this firsthand and up close. Itâs as horrifying as it is destructive.â
